What a glorious weekend its truly been friends! Yay for sunny days.
What a difference a bit of warm beautiful weather can make to the mood hey. Has it been lovely where you are in the world? The allotment is going to take SO much work, but im happy to put the effort in, and other plot holders are super nice! We've already had lettuces, runner bean and onions plants given to us to start us off. I can't wait till we can harvest some of our own home grown veggies...!
It was also even nicer because my parents came down to help me. My dad has major green fingers and can get anything to grow, so i called upon their assistance. I can't tell you how lovely it was to spend time with them and start this allotment together. So often i'm just dropping Neo off to them or picking him up that we don't spend much quality time together, so this little venture of ours is also wonderful for bringing us together. Neo also got stuck in bless him, copying everything his Bampa did, it was the sweetest. I'm on a mission this week to get him a little spade and trowel of his own. It excites me to think he will be growing up outdoors helping grow our little veggies.
So as the title suggests, dress, boots and i'm done! This is pretty much my standard uniform these days, which makes me happy. Did i mention i'm pretty happy? haha! Yep, you may see this boots, dress, formula a lot coming up. I just find it so so easy and practical.
Don't get me wrong, i didn't go digging in the dirt in this pretty dress but i spent all day Saturday in it, and this evening for when we went for an evening stroll making the most of child free time!
The man behind the lens, hates to be infront of it,lol!! I feel very lucky to have hubby to take pictures for me. I just found this lovely big field/common 5 minutes from my house! Its beautiful here, i'm thinking picnic sometime soon!
Anyway enough of me, how are you? Did you have a wonderful weekend? I do hope so!!

I am loving the warm weather here in my corner of the world too! I have a wee lil garden sprouting up on my balcony of our apartment. So far so good! This will be the test to determine if I have a green or black thumb for gardening :) I too can't wait to harvest~

Oh look at you all happy and gorgeous! This is totally 100% something I'd wear, too. It looks super cute & comfy, and is it my imagination or have you already lost more weight?! A move to a nice house, some summer weather, and your eating healthier all do a body good, huh?
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for your little veggie garden! J & I tried our hand at it when we moved into our apartment 2 years ago because our yard already came with a little gated off garden area. But I have the blackest thumb in the world and the only thing that didn't die were onions. Oh, and some gigantic sunflowers, too :) But with your dad's help, I'm sure you'll have more veggies than you'll know what to do with. And so continues the healthy eating. It all comes full circle, Rach :)
