Apparently i didnt feel like looking at the camera once this particular day.
Apparently i had the long gaze in to the distance type stare really going on, to the point where i couldn't even contemplate looking at my (lovely) photographer.
Apparently i like to touch my scarf and hair .. a lot!
Apparently i have obviously been doing this for way too long
Le sigh...
So dodgy poses aside, how are you? I am settling in nicely to the 100 day shopping ban (can you say cold turkey, anyone?!) Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement on my new endeavour, i have to say its quite exhilarating right now. I'm sure some time in the not to distant future i will have such bad cravings i will want to even sell my first born to get my hands on some new goods... BUT all in good time. Right now i am just going to sit back and enjoy my current closet.
My bestie had a great suggestion of putting aside £1.00 each day so at the end of the 100 days i will have £100 to go out an treat myself. i won't miss the £1 each day as i spend way more than that on average per week, so thats what i shall do. and that my friends is exciting!
And of course the brown biker jacket is never far behind these days. One of my most worn items this a/w i'd say.
What are you remixing lately?
Dress: c/o Persunmall

I am a huge fan of green and blue at the moment, love that combo. As a January Baby as well I think I can speak on behalf of all Jan Babies and tell you whatever you get us is appreciated ( we january kids always end up on the short end just like December, way to close to the holidays, so parents your word of the day in April and May is ABSTAIN lol) Dinner and a night out sounds perfect
ReplyDeletedude, i do the hair-and-scarf touch all the time.. i can't stop doing it, really. anyway, you look lovely in these pictures, and the dress is beautiful! xxo
ReplyDeleteYour shoes give me such envy! I love this outfit xx
ReplyDeletei'm definitely tempted by this 100 day shopping ban. I've done one in the past. It would be such a good idea.
ReplyDeleteI love that you are doing a shopping ban. I am trying not to buy anything right now, but there are just so many darn good sales going on... bah. Anyway, I love that pretty green dress! And I just got a really similar pair of booties for Christmas and have been looking for new ways to wear them. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteAnother January baby here, and I agree with Linda. I think a night away sounds like a perfect gift for the hubby.
ReplyDeleteI rarely comment (if ever) but I must say I have some serious location envy every time I look at your photos. They are always so beautiful (both subject matter & background location). Finding your blog has just added to my yearning to visit England/Ireland/Scotland. It's all so completely different than Arizona (USA). =)
beautiful earth tones going on here! i institute shopping bans all of the time -- it's a great way to save money and force yourself to look at what you really wear in your closet, instead of just adding more stuff. good luck!!

absolutely love how sharp and put together but still super fun you look here. if that makes any sense, but i have a hard time finding that balance. also, i usually dont get my hubs a gift, just make him dinner and spend a bit of time together, so no idea there. and i think the shopping ban is great, esp since then you'll have a bit of $ together and can make a mindful purchase instead of just a sale, although i am swooning over Mata Trader's sale dresses right now.
ReplyDeleteWow! I love your unique scarf :) Good luck with your shopping ban!!
ReplyDeleteI love wearing blue with my green dress too. Blue and green just work really well together! I love how you styled this pretty dress this time though. Your brown leather jacket and cool boots look awesome with it!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great look-- love how you paired the green dress with the different brown tones!
