There's just something so wonderful about Great Plains Dresses, i love them. They are like the effortlessly stylish dress that every girl wants. Some casual, some dressy... a collection every girl would want (well i sure know i do!)
I instantly fell for this grey sweet dress. The innocent cut, the interesting neckline and the soft brushed cotton fabric. The perfect winter dress! I imagined it with big chunky bright coats, boots and tights and maybe even a little light long sleeve layer underneath.
But mother nature decided that she wasn't going to give me crisp cool days to wear my new dress. So i thought, screw waiting for winter i'm gunna wear my beautiful dress right now! And so i went about dressing it for in-betweeny weather like this...
I paired it with some snakeskin effect heels a pop of raspberry with the clutch and lips and some fancy pants earings, and i felt like a lady!
I'm still very excited for tights and a nice bright coat with it..watch this space (Mother Nature willing that is)
Just a quick note, i am flying solo at the moment with Passion 4 fashion.. my lovely co-host Lena is taking some well deserved time out whilst she has some amazing things going on IRL.

Loving everything about this flannel dress! The perfect neutral color, the pocket details, neckline, and the forgiving fit! It can be paired with so many great shoes and accessories! I like that you chose to pair it with raspberry and leopard. Wouldn't have thought to pair those two together. Thanks for the style inspiration!

ok I really must say --- (do you hear Martin Short saying that?) that my sister in 1967 sewed a dress almost identical to this dress you are wearing, Hers had sleeves and she made a little pill box hat like Jackie Kennedy worn {on her dreadful day of her husband's death) but that was the big deal then (pill box hats). I should become a fashion historian, man. (chuckles) BUT #1 Love the styling of the other grand item's colors; hot pink clutch, vibrant green earrings and the cutout on the subtle heels = ALL EQUAL PERFECTION, my sweet! PERFECTION!!!
ReplyDelete#2 I am so glad I didn't miss this inspirational post!
#3 I am so penny pinchy but I want to buy something from Yosa soooooooooo badly!!
