Bright Pink & Faux Leather Trousers (& #Passion4Fashion Linkup)

I have been craving some brights of late. I feel like an injection of colour is exactly what is needed this late in to the winter, and with Spring in the not so distant future it seemed like a good idea to add a few pieces to my wardrobe that will see me through.
This obnoxiously pink, and i use that as a term of endearment, jumper is just fab. Cosy, soft, bright and just shouts FUN at the top of it pink knitted rows. It made for a perfect date night outfit as it's still cold in the evenings, but the extroverted colour made the outfit sassy and enjoyable to wear. As did my trusty faux leather trousers, that i have really not worn enough this winter. Super happy to have them back on these legs again.
The contrast between the faux leather and the soft knit is one of my favourite combinations, soft and tough, black and pink. Add in a hit of leopard and the silver clutch and i was dressed to my happiest.

Pink is such a great colour as there is pretty much a shade for everyone. With pale pink and blush reigning predominantly, its great to see some punchy pinks back in action. I would also hazard a guess that these bright shades will be big through spring, so grab yourself a pretty pink number now.
They are also a great deceiver of tiredness. The instant pick-me-up in sweater form. The colour will radiate and make you instantly look more glowing, happy and will bring colour to your cheeks. The next time you feel absolutely drained to your core and grey to the skin, try a bright pink jumper, I promise you it adds instant pep!

This jumper will work well with causal jeans as well as my faux leather skirt, so i hope it will see a lot more wear in the next few months, plus i just really enjoy wearing it. Its fun. And dressing should be fun, Amiright?

Also sidenote: these photos were taken after just after 5pm.. i apologise for the slightly dim lighting.. But hallelujah! Bloggers breathe a collective sigh of relief, as taking photos starts to get that little bit easier! Hello light nights, you've been missed!

So bright pink? Do you dare to wear?

Cuffed Jeans with Red & Mint

Remember this dress? When i first received it i knew that i wanted to wear it open like a long shirt/jacket. I love the flow of it over the basic outfit of boyfriend jeans and a white tee. Perfect for casual but still feeling pretty snazzy. It was so windy today the shirt was blowing in the breeze, which was lovely, but my gosh... my hair was going c-razy!! Quite frustrating as half the photos came out making me looking like a. i had grown a beard or b. had stuck my fingers in an electric socket. Seriously, i think i need to do a bloopers post with crazy hair!haha!

So super cuffed jeans.
I have been seeing these in the fashion mags of late and i kinda love it. It just adds a great update to something you already have in your wardrobe, which to me is cost effective and also very cool.
Me likey!
I've cuffed jeans (not as much as here) for years so this is a welcome trend in my books.
The idea is to have a fairly loose fitting straight leg jeans (as opposed to a skinny or a flared jeans) and cuff away.
Have you tried the cuffed jeans trend yet?
Another new to me trial is red and mint. After seeing it recently on Atlantic Pacific (who can do no wrong in my eyes!) it looked like a fun colour combo i had never tried before. Cue an old mint bag and a mint/neon statement necklace, all finished off with a bit of leopard.
Lovely jubilee.

Biker with Leopard and Stripes

Hey lovelies, we have been enjoying experimenting with our new camera lately ( i say we, i mean hubs, i just stand there while he does the skill-full bit). We recently got us a little upgrade and went from a Canon to a Nikon and the switch over has  been a little rough! Its like a completely different camera experience. But finally with a few tweaks to the settings and a lot of patience i am happy to report some nice photos. What camera do you use? Any advice for a new Nikon user?

Just another outfit i stole from a pin i had found and fallen in love with, and i totally loved wearing it too. Mixing a few of my favourite things stripes, my brown biker and leopard print!! Saaweeettt!!I've been more Rachel the Scarf than Rachel The Hat of late. My scarf collection is getting kinda crazy (crazy in a good way! i looove me some scarf's!) and this one from Miss Selfridge is big and cosy and one of my favourite remixing colours- mustard. I decided to clash it up a bit with the poppy red clutch i got in the mega Dorothy Perkins sale and called it an outfit. A happy outfit indeed. Simple but effective, my favourite kind.

I have nothing really to say today (hence the load of waffle above) its just one of those days i guess, its sunday, im sleepy and busy arranging things for the coming week, housework and chores, so really i have nothing of any interest to say (unless you find laundry interesting then i invite you to have a conversation with me about how lovely the fabric softener is im using at the moment) But apart from that i have zilch..nada...nothing. So on that note i wish you a lovely week and and a lovely end to your weekend, whatever it is you're doing.
