Lotus Shoe Giveaway (& #Passion4Fashion Link-Up)

Burgundy and navy is just such a great colour combination, wouldn't you agree? I've been focusing on camel and black so heavily this season that i actually forgot all about this coat. When i received these fabulous boots from Lotus Shoes it reminded me of what a glorious couple these colour make, which sent me in to my attic to dig out of storage this coat, which seems like it was pretty much made to be worn with these fab dual colour boots.
It's otherwise such a simple outfit, but i love the minimal, clean lines and block colours , making it simple and effective.

I have worn a variety of Lotus shoes  over the past 3 years, and each season they bring out a new range that is both extremely comfy and fun to wear. I have to say this season they have excelled themselves on the style front with silver and pewter boots, burgundy beauties and leopard print shoes, they are seriously on point;)

These shoe boots are exactly that, the block heel isn't too high, making these great for the day and evening and leaving my feet feeling comfy, which is always a blessing. I love the idea of these with a skirt or dress and tights too.

There's nothing like a new pair of boots to put a spring in ones step.
Thankfully it's not just me that gets great new shoes. Lotus are giving one lucky reader* their choice of shoes from their website in today's epic giveaway!

Black Biker Boots

In the last post i introduced you to the Lotus Chocolate Brown boot. Today its turn for the Black Biker Boot.. Ladies, i have lived in this whole outfit for about 2 weeks! it's my new favourite go-to outfit. Whether it be out shopping for the day, coffee with friends, school run or chilling , this has been what i've been wearing. The skirts is stretchy and comfy and the sweater is just right for the current temperatures.

The Biker Boots  are AMAZING.. i can not get enough of this pair. they are by  Naturalizer  which has an outlet via Lotus here in the UK. Their theory is all about Living your life, loving your shoes, but all in comfort! Which to me is soooo important. I hate the normal wearing in process with shoes, you know, walking through the pain, blisters and all that lovely stuff (yuck), but these boots have been so comfy from the offset its like wearing a pair of old trusty reliable boots you've been with for years.
I found out that this is all down to their  Naturalizer N5 elements:
-Find Blanace
-Move Softly
-Go Lightly
-Breathe Easily
-Be Flexible

All i know is this definitely works! I am so pleased (and extremely comfy) in these boots. I've never had a pair of Naturalizer's before but its definitely fair to say i would buy them in future.

Im starting to remix these boots with dresses and skinny jeans and biker jacket meets biker boots which, i shall be bringing to a blog post soon. I'm trying to see how many different ways i can rock biker boots, seeing as they're so comfy and all!!

Chocolate and Cream

 So every girl needs some essentials during autumn/winter, right? And in my eyes two of those very important things that are the top of my must have list every autumn are;
a pair of brown/tan knee high boots
and
and a pair of black biker style boots

I am so pleased to be collaborating this month with Lotus Shoes to show you some of the best shoes around.

Today i introduce you to my new love the chocolate brown knee high boot

Each winter without fail, i always invest in a good pair of brown boots. Normally i go for a light tan which has always been great, but this year i really fancied going for the chocolate brown. These boots are a such a great dark rich colour , they look luxurious and practical all at the same time. The soles are thick and have a lot of grip, ( that might sound strange but is noteworthy in my books as my previous boots from Next had zero grip and actually have a hole in the sole, which i am not impressed with, after shelling out £80 last winter on them!)  this will be so helpful during the snowy/frosty months adding a great practicality to the classic boot.

The riding boot style is one that has held its own for winter upon winter, i love how they can look smart and yet are so easy to wear too! As a mother and a general lady on the go these are the ultimate winter boot for me. I know i can wear these with nice pretty blouses for coffee dates with friends, or with a big coat through the thick of winter whilst going for long walks with the family, they are the boot of all boots for the jack(jill?) of all trades.

To début the Lotus Amano Dark Brown Leather Knee High Boot i wanted a simple classic outfit, so today i went for simple dark indigo skinny jeans and cream blouse with gold jewellery. Simple yet effective i found! I can't wait to show you all the wonderful ways i have planned to style these lovely boots over the next few months. I can see these being a regular fixture on these feet of mine!

Do you have your classic winter boots yet?

Smart/Casual

Happy Monday folks, My gosh time is running away with me lately, i've been meaning to post these pics since Saturday. Even now i cant quite believe half the day is already over..BUT I HAVE SO MUCH TO DOOOOO..arrgghhh, lol :)
Ok so i'm kinda crushing on smart/causal lately. I love this outfit i wore last week for some general errand running, opticians , the usual day to day stuff. But i felt good in it, like a smarty pants, thats comfy- smart/casual. I think its the boyfriend jeans that made me feel casual but dressed up with the booties gave just the right amount of smartness.

Aren't these teal shoe boots gorgeous! Its actually the first pair of Lotus Shoes for me and i have to say they are super comfy and so well made. I love how striking the colour is and the gold details are perfect. I am such a boot fan, all types shapes and colours. Autumn means lots of nice boot wearing time and i can see these babies being on high rotation through autumn. I have a pink paisley dress that i would love to pair them with!
