A/W thoughts... (& Giveaway!!!)

Is it bad that i'm already eyeing up lots of A/W styles and have a shopping list as long as my arm? It may be induced by the perpetual rain we are having and the drop in temperatures we are experiencing that are making me crave cardi's, layers and all things autumnal. It seems dark in the evenings already (just grey skies..meh!) and i really don't want to wish the summer away, but i have to have something to get me through these terrible British summer days dont i?!
So i thought i'd share today (and inflict some a/w on you!) some of the pins ive been pinning today. Seriously, pintrest..so much fun. I have phases with Pintrest where i don't touch it for months but then go craycray for it and pin the crap out of everything haha! So here it is.. my pins today!

Cream Dresses

Biker Jacket

A bit of a tougher look then i have previously gone in for, but i can not stop thinking and researching the perfect biker jacket. Really REALLY want one!!

Breton Tops and Trenches

i have an endless love for a breton top, any season and i will wear one. I own about 12 versions (reds, navys, blacks, short sleeved, long sleeve etc)

They always make an outfit look put together and smart even when causal.

I also love the classic trench, again timeless. I hope to re create a lot of the above!

But enough about autumn already i hear you shout at me!

Good Times

Hi lovelies, how was your weekend? Mine was a good one! Seriously busy but super good. I got to spend some lovely one on one time with my darling hubby and it was wonderful.

We had a long drive on Saturday night to Paul's home town to pick up a new car from his mum and dad. The journey takes (with a stop for coffee of course) about 4 hours. We dropped Neo off at my parents and took a slow drive towards London and i enjoyed every minute of it. There were no kids nagging for wee breaks or sweets or asking if we were there yet. It was just hubs and me one on one having a good old chat. It was super lovely. When you have kids it really makes you appreciate any time you get together, even if it is a car journey, or a trip to the supermarket together.

Then Sunday night after we drove home we went out on a double date with one of my loveliest oldest friends. We went for Indian food (which was possibly the best i've ever had,,nomnomnom!!) and chatted and laughed. It was lovely.

I've started Monday reflectivley, after such a great weekend its made me realise how lucky i am to have met Paul and to have married such a wonderful man who is literally my best friend. I don't talk about him on here much, but i feel so truly lucky and blessed to be married to him and to be sharing my life with him... here's to great partners and hubbys!! (ok my gushy slushy lovely doveyness is over i promise)

Ps when i turned round and looked in to the field shortly after our first few snaps, i had one heck of a crowd...

I was in absolute stiches, it was so funny, these beautiful cows were all stood together totally rubber necking... i mean, what an audience! haha!!

Passion For Fashion Link up #15

Ahh british summers, stormy and rainy,what to wear what to wear, this is the question i ask myself every morning!

As you can see from the grey clouds and the dull lighting weather here is weeeiirddd right now. Neither hot nor cold, but both. Neither sunny nor raining, just bizzare. Its the first time my legs have worn jeans in weeks... not quite sure how i feel about that... part of me kinda liked it, as i do love a good jeans day, part of me thinks, what the frick? its SUMMER!! Pass me my shorts! dear oh dearie me!

I did enjoy getting to wear my new loose flowy blouse that i was eyeing up whilst full price and was super delighted to nab it in the sale...woop woop for sales.
