When i was kid there were a few dress rules my mum endorsed. Blue and green should never be seen unless a colour in-between (apparently) and Black and Navy must not be worn together.
These days i love to mix any colours together and you know what? black and navy (and a little blue and white thrown in) work well together. That's what i love about fashion and personal style...screw the rules, wear what you want. (nb, my mum is a true convert, the other day i saw her wear purple and red...together..she totes gets it;)
I have to say, i am having the worst hair days lately, not just one day, nope i'm talking weeks long bad hair periods. I'm kinda in that annoying phase of not long, not short, the no-man's land of hair lengths. Im at that point where it needs a cut but i don't know, i kinda want long hair again..what to do, what to do...ponder ponder.
Any suggestions?
I found these little blue shoes in my underbed shoe storage... i had totally forgot all about them since waaayyy last year! Then i proceeded to wear them and muddied up the whole front, typical huh!
Poor blue shoes.
And i'm pleased to welcome a spotty blouse back in to my life again too,
They are just so perfect for some remixing. I had one previously and proceeded to ruin it with a big splodge of foundation right on the front! Ruined! No satin remover could even touch it. So when
this spotty blouse turned up i was relieved to have it back in the remixing game. The amount of times i reached for my spotty blouse to wear under sweaters or dresses, only to remember it was ruined, well, this makes alllll that better now. All is now obviously right with the world once again. Heehee! :)
Anyway folks, enjoy the rest of your weekend/have a great start to your week! me and my muddied blue shoes and little granny-esque bun are off to make Spaghetti Bolognese (or spag bol if you will). Yummers!!
