I was recently introduced to Brag Vintage and i have been perusing their site ever since. I love the selection of true vintage they have, I love the size range they stock (i dont always fit vintage and sometimes struggle with sizing, but not here!) and the service was super fast (have i ever told you i am impatient, when i order something online, i want it , like, yesterday.. i know.. diva rachel tut tut)
I chose this dress for its length, its the midi inbetweenie length that i just find so practical. The floral fabric is floaty but made of that rich cotton that vintage dresses are made of (don't make them like they used to as my dear old nan would have said).
It also had the most gorgeous lattice lace to the back, such a pretty little vintage feature. I felt so good in this dress all day, floating around. Even hubs really liked it. Question for you, what shoes would you pair with this dress? would you go edgy with boots or simple shoes? I wore simple pumps to the fields and walking around that day. But suggestions would be great!

Are you enjoying your last days of summer?

Such a pretty dress. I have enjoyed the last weekend away on camp with the guides, which has been great.
ReplyDeletethat necklace is amazing
ReplyDeleteGorgeous dress! And great pictures! I've been pretending it's fall, even though it's technically still summer :)
ReplyDeleteOh that is a gorgeous dress! xo
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dress, and it looks great on you! For shoes, I would go with a simple strappy sandal, maybe with a kitten heel.
ReplyDeleteHi Rachel. This is such a beautiful dress. I love the all over flower print and the rolled up sleeves. So pretty. And that's one cool necklace.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.

I can only think of you working such a vintage dress. Love the subtle floral on it. As far as shoes, I'd try cowboy booties with it, almond-toe flats or even some cute leopard loafers.
ReplyDeleteI love the first photo and the B+W one of you sitting down with your knees up.
