Moan over, i promise;)
So faux leather is totally at the top of my radar at the moment. Ever since i bought a pair of coated jeans last winter, which then a faux leather mini quickly succeeded, i have been loving it. Faux leather just adds such a great edge to an outfit. I have been eyeing up some faux leather trousers and am desperate to take the plunge (any suggestions? I've been thinking H&M?), but in the mean time faux leather skirts are fuelling my faux leather loving heart.
This lovely skirt recently arrived from Almost Famous after i spent practically hours drooling over their beautiful Look Book. Choose one piece they said.. my God, IT WAS SO HARD! i now just want to deck myself out, head to toe in Almost Famous.
Such prettiness, such great prints and wonderful on trend pieces.
I went for the Faux leather Pencil Skirt in the oxblood colour (the colour that is set to be on trend for another winter, shame they had to stick with the name though...oxblood..eugh)
Its a beauty.
I can't wait to start wearing it in the colder months with a big chunky knit and try rocking the norm-core trend that i keep reading about in all the latest magazines.
In the mean time, whilst the UK has it's normal Indian Summer (kids go back, the sun comes out), i decided to try it with a boxy crop breton top and some clashing heels.

Shoes: Dorothy Perkins
Clutch Bag: Peacocks

Are there any key pieces you are loving for Autumn?
Or trends you can't wait to try?

ReplyDeleteThe fact that this is leather and the best fall color makes it perfect! Love it with the stripes.

Rachel you totally nailed this outfit. Although I agree that oxblood, is a disgusting name for a color it really is fantastic. I have a pleather oxblood skirt that I LOVE, but I would have never thought of styling it with stripes and the result is very chic. Thank you for hosting the linkup!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the burgundy color of that skirt and how it looks with your leopard print heels. You look amazing!

ReplyDeleteI doubt there will be a day when you post an outfit I DON'T want to pin immediately, Rachel... no. that day will never come! This is ladylike, sexy and super funky all at the same time. 100 out of 10.

New found love for leopard print and breton. I'd never wear a leather skirt (short and curvy) but you're looking stunning, as always. Love xx
ReplyDeleteLove this whole look! Especially the shoes. It is not going to be fall weather here for a while, so I haven't really thought too far ahead to fall trends!
