Dress with a View

So i'm back in a cemetery again.. this time we were in the local town of Old Llantrisant and the views are just phenomenal at the church here. It really is a wonderful spot. Crazy really, i often crave holidays to gorgeous European destinations to see views just like this, when in actuality i have some pretty spectacular ones right on my door step!

I guess being back in the travel industry has re-sparked my love for travelling. Each day i work in the travel agents i price up holidays and imagine what it would be like to go. Top of my Travel bucket list are Sorrento, Rome and Venice in Italy and Dubrovnik in Croatia. And even though now my not be the ideal time for us to travel ( cos' of moving house, Paul starting a new job, generally starting afresh) i totally can't wait for the day we can jump on a plane and see the world some more.

But for now these views aren't to bad ....

When i was last in travel 7 years ago, i was quite a lucky girl and got to see some amazing places. I've visited Barcelona and many parts of Spain, Paris and other parts of France, Cuba, New York, Dominican Republic to name just a few, and each and everyone i loved.
The nice thing about going away, i always look forward to coming home, sleeping in your own bed in your own home.. it's still the best place to be :)

An Oldie But a Goodie

This heart jumper (sweater) is a few years old now but i still love it as much as the day i bought it. The problem with having a HUMONGOUS(read: ridiculous) amount of  clothes, things often go astray, or i just forget i even had them (read: spoilt brat syndrome)  When i bought this lovely heart knit i had great plans, plans that i would remix the crap out of it and where it at least 3 times a week. In reality it's probably been worn 4 times its whole life...

2013 will be the year of less shopping for clothes for oneself. Seriously, do you ever look in to you wardrobe and think wow...where do i start/ jee i forgot about this, this and this/ oh look this still has its tags!...? I am the first to admit that i am serial shopper, always looking out for the next best/ bargain of an outfit. But really, do i need 12 coats? Do i need close to 100 dresses? No, probably not. I guess it is a slight hazzard of the trade when it comes to "style blogging", looking for the next outfit to post that will be the.best.ever.
But going fourth, this year i will be more thoughtful. I will buy less. I will put my dress pennies into more worth while things (like the whole in my roof that appeared over christmas...rain pouring in every freeking where!)
Do you ever feel like, enough is enough?

Don't get me wrong, i will most definitely still purchase things, heck i know i can't go cold turkey people.. i've tried, it only makes me want to shop more (seriously, its like a diet where you just want to eat more 'cos you know you can't!) But i want to be a better buyer. I want to be more thoughtful with my money and my purchases. My wardrobe physically cant take any more and i'm pretty sure Hubby's clocked that i'm already a third in to his space too.... :-[ eek!
So come on tell me, do you have too much? Or are you of the mindset, the more the better?

Paul and I were out the other day and stopped in my favourite little town. Isn't this little Toy shop cute? It's in the local town of Old Llantrisant (as oppose to the new-er bit down the road) its all cobbled streets and and cute one of a kind shops, my fav kinda place. It's officially bye bye to all the Christmassy things  now like the lights on the trees and the Santas in the toy shops, before we know it it'll be summer ;)
