Apologies in advance....

I'm feeling rather rubbish today. The world was lucky I got out of my pj's this morning. It's been a funny old week and I'm tired(er than usual). Do you ever have those days when you truly can't be bothered? When you don't feel like making any sort of effort? Am I alone? Possible the worst "fashion" blogger ever though lol!
But life goes on, I get dressed, minimal was the look all round today. Minimal hair, make up, accessories and you get the gist.

Teething bling bracelet, for babies to chew on. Sold here:
Little Tots Baby Shop

All of this outfit is old. Old shoes old dress, old cardigan. Simple simple simple.

I went through a few of the photos and didn't like any of them. Not-a-one! So these are the scrapings of the barrel so to speak.

I hope to be back tomorrow with better photos and outfits. I have now got a week off from work, wooohoo!! But in this day and age I just don't ever seem to switch off, with emails on your phone and work colleagues having your number, the work never stops. I could turn the thing off, but that seems strange, and I do wonder if I'd perhaps go cold turkey.

Here's a few pics from our day at a country park recently:

What a lovely day

Today I returned with my sister to our home town of Barry Island.
The home of one half of:
Gavin and Stacey

Today's outfit was:

All old, apart from moccasins from New Look.
Umbrella: Vintage
Neckscarf: New York 6 years ago
When I started blogging a mere few months ago, I wrote about my love for a denim shirt dress and how it is my "go to" item. Here is an example. I needed an outfit, I went to this trusty little number and changed it up a bit with the below bits and pieces.

Here's a little look at today:

Neo looovvess strawberries

Maddy my eldest niece and my handsome step son Talyn, with their tubs of chips

classic chips with lashings of salt & vinegar

Lillie pickle waiting patiently for a chip :)

A ride on the tea cups

Hook a duck, prize every time!

It was lovely to be back visiting my old home town. We were on the parade eating chips in tubs and the kids played peacefully and merrily around us.  It reminded me of days gone by where it was my sister and I running around and licking our 99 ice-creams.
Then later on the heavens opened and we had to make a quick departure and fled towards our cars.
Just one if those beautiful days of happiness....Off to go snuggle with my hubby, he's jealous, He thinks I love my blog more than him(close call ;)

Hope your Monday was filled with muchos muchos happiness too!

This Weeks Wish List.....

Well I was going to do an Outfit post for all you lovely people to see. However it appears that I just couldn't do it today. I looked horrendous. Yummy mummy? Not even close! I was tired, bags the size of luggage under my eyes and just as I was gearing myself up to take a few pic's, I picked Neo up and he kindly deposited a nice present to mummy. I'll give you a hint, the present deposited to mummy was not a nice pair of shoes, it was a nice bright orange stain down my lovely white boho blouse.
So that left me picture un-perfect and was the deciding factor of no photos today!
So when in doubt, go window shopping!!

Gimme a big pot of cash and this is what I'd currently like to buy:

I'm really loving vintage finds at the moment and this is a fake vintage, it's new, but still pleasing to the eye and a great piece for A/W.

Missoni print I love, Missoni prices not so much! This River island retro dress is funky and kinder to my poor little purse.

I have wanted to buy a pleated skirt for a while now. I keep seeing lovely bloggers looking com-pleat-ly(HAHA) perfect in pleats and I  wanna try! Green my fav colour, and pleats, ooo yes please. I might make this one a gift from me to me. I fancy trying it with black one day and tan another. Re-mixable surely equals a must!

Retro prints are a huge contender for my A/W wardrobe. This comeS in midi and maxi length too!

I seem to have developed a crush on capes. I want one. I want one now.

I LOOOVVEEE this dress.
Flattering cut: check!
Funky print: check!
Sleeves: check! ( I get cold easy!)

Whole outfit is Walis. Growing up Walis was kinda for older ladies, nicely dressed older ladies, but older none the less. Now either I'm getting old or they've upped their game. I'm hoping it's the latter.

American pretty Vintage

A lovely lace top in Ginger. Ginger is a fab colour!

I've realised my list could go on and on. So I'll stop teasing myself and leave it there. Going to go check my bank balance and check I didn't "accidently" just purchase anything ;o)

This weekend...where do I start!

Well so far it's been one of those weekends were a ton of stuff has happened. We've had long days of kids parties, shopping, lunches and driving.
We also have had long nights as Neo decided to come down with "I no longer want to be in my cot" syndrome and screamed at the top of his lungs until 2.30 this morning. We intermittently tried taking him out, calming him down and attempting to put him back but the little monkey was not having it, until he burnt himself and us out!
Also my 8 year old step daughter had her first sleep over at a friends house which ended abruptly at midnight when she called and asked to be picked up as she was scared. It made me so sad as she must have been feeling so lost and uncomfortable there.... today she's dancing around in a fairy costume being a kid again, which I love! Kids grow up way to quick these days, we're trying to encourage her to stay young and enjoy being a kid. It's hard in today's society when kids are 8 going on 18.
Soooo needless to say I'm feeling super super sleepy today. Bacon sarnies were consumed by all(apart from Neo, lol) and now we're sunday chilling altogether!LOVELY!!!!
Here's a few snaps from the weekend:
Dressed down and dam comfy, chino's and denim shirt

easy espadrilles

My new shoes, expect to see me in these a lot. They're like slippers!!

Neo's 1st proper shoes!

My retro print party frock

Exhausted after party

Peace at last

And here's a few from the fairies and elves party (which was AMAZING! my friend is a crafty genius, she made hand tied tutu's, and elf hats and wands and allsorts!)

Neo really suited being a little elf lol!! Think it must be the ears!

Got some outfits to post tonight so hopefully will write later!
Are you all having eventful fun weekends? Hope so!!
