Fading Light and Passion For Fashion Linkup!!

SO these dark evenings make taking photos tricky when your photographer is at work till 6pm huh!
And the thing is its only going to get worse/harder when the clocks go back for us here in the UK saying good bye to british summer time and hello to long dark nights. I can't moan, i do love this time of year, the crisp fresh mornings, the first frost, the wonderful colours, it really is the stuff of poetry isn't it! The persistent rain and gale force winds however are not my favourite!

I am all about buying great block colours with lots of remixing potential lately, i'm slowly building a collection of pieces i love that are really versatile, like these boots and this new Oxblood colour dress. It makes dressing so much fun having a wardrobe thats full of remixing potential.

Aztec Cardi

Sometimes, in the style blogging world things often go viral,so to speak. Its like a collective response to a piece, something practically everybody loves and you see a chain of blogs showcasing it. Take this aztec cardigan from Chicnova, i fell in love with this cardigan last winter after seeing Tieka who had seen it on Signe and more recently i have seen it on Kendie! All styled up in the most amazing ways of course! Those ladies have amazing style. Its such a great piece i almost felt overwhelmed with the possibilities of how to wear it! So i decided to go for pure simpleness.. All black with pops of brown. I was so happy with this casual weekend outfit i may have worn it two days running ;-)

I am thoroughly looking forward to remixing this cardigan for sure, i fancy it with a hit of cobalt blue and coated jeans and also over my burgundy dress.. yay for autumn/winter dressing and versatile cardigans! I can see this one being a staple all winter long.

The weather had been pretty miserable lately, especially on my days off (typical huh!!) lots and lots of rain, im surprised us Welsh people don't have webbed feet,lol! Thankfully we don't 'cos that would just be weird and i wouldn't have the chance to wear my gorgeous brown Lotus Boots which have been such an asset to my winter wardrobe so far this year!

Day to Night with Lotus Shoes

One day this week i was happy to prance about in a cute dress with my boots and socks combo. Its been unseasonally mild up until yesterday ( i actually took these photos a couple of days ago, im always running behind...!) And now the wind is howling and it is COLD.. 6 degrees Celsius this morning made sure bare legs was not happening. But im glad i got to fit in one more day without tights.

Another remix today with my Chocolate Brown Knee High boots from Lotus, with this zig zag dress that does not get worn enough, the colours are autumn perfection, aren't they! I'm definitely trying to wear some old existing dresses more and remix, and it feels good! Im having fun putting outfits together from what i have and becoming reacquainted with old winter wardrobe friends.
