This beautifully bright blazer was a lovely mothers day gift as picked by my boys from last weekend. I love love love it. Obnoxiously bright as it is i can't help but be cheery in it. I wasn't sure if this outfit was a bit autumnal with the orange and greens but, who cares right (the season police possibly?), i think the brightness of the emerald green against the sharpness of the orange is a great combination, whatever the season. I have SO many outfits planned with this orange blazer. Who knew, orange is a really versatile colour to remix things up with! I am on a total blazer craze right now, i had this one and another tribal print one (coming to a post soon, im sure!) for mothers day (perk of the trade heh!) and i literally can't stop wearing them with skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans and different colour tops. It's just so easy to get out on time and look fairly pulled together, all thanks to a blazer. Blazers mean business and look the business and that is an easy-peasy formula i can totally do.

ReplyDeleteI don't own a blazer. How has that happened?! I think maybe I find the traditional dark colours a bit 'corporate', but I think this orange one of yours is pretty fabulous. Maybe I am a coloured blazer person? I will be sure to try one on next time I hit the shops.

ReplyDeleteI actually really love blazers and the way they make anything look instantly put-together. This orange one is a wonderful color! I love the color combination in this outfit too. You look great. This makes me wish I had more blazers. I had a bunch of oversized ones from when that was cool a few years back but not enough ones that actually fit me.

WOW! I love that orange blazer what an amazing Mother's Day gift.... hmmm I may have to forward this to my man! I actually don't think it is too obnoxious, it is just bright enough. I'm also loving my coated jeans this season....coated is totally the new leather pants.

You are making me think I need to re-evaluate my stance on blazers I've always found them to be restricting and uncomfortable, and I can never get them to button if they do button bc if they fit me in the arms/shoulders they are too tight at the bust. You make me want to try again though!
