Red Shirt with Leather trousers (& #Passion4Fashion Linkup)

It was love at first sight with this red blouse; Grandad style neckline, stunning red colour and a pretty floral print equals b-e-a-utiful. It was like it was the perfect option for Valentines day, for a date that didn't quite pan out (kids+life means nothing ever goes to plan, am I the only one?). But no biggy as i still donned my outfit anyway and strutted about in it regardless, just 'cos I bloody loved it, and that was good enough for me.
I paired the shirt with my little military blazer, my faux leather trews  and my so-worn-but-so comfy little Chelsea boots and felt put together, sassy (its the faux leather trews I tell ya, its just something about them that brings the sass), smart and yet totally comfortable.
I mentioned in my last post that I may have accidentally bought two blouses within the space of a week, well this was blouse number one, and totally different to number one you'll agree, right?
I kinda think this one could look great with some light flared jeans and tan accessories, or one fashion step further, cropped kick flare jeans... oooohh, me likey.
Don't you just love when a new piece really brightens up your wardrobe. I know I do.

Outfit Details:
Military Jacket
Leather trousers
Red blouse

Well I obviously have a shirt addiction, but I'm totally ok with that... Have you bought anything lovely lately that really make you happy?

Say Hello to the Perfect Black Coat (&Under £60!)

Well, the search for the perfect black coat is finally over!
Would you believe if i told you that i have been searching high and low for the perfect crombie-style black coat for a whole year. I kid you not.
Twelve whole months of looking, quite frankly it felt like it may have been easier to find Venus de Milo's arms!
It started last winter, but to no avail.
With every coat i fell in love with coming in at the £200-300 price mark it seemed finding a classic black coat was out of my reach.
I had a price break of around £100, no more. It had to come to the knee, be lined, pure black of colour and of a nice quality.
I'm not asking too much here am I?
When it comes to the classic black coat, i wanted something that would stand the test of time.

During my Adidas Gazelle hunt recently i found myself back at Zalando. The thing I love about this site is that you find things from brands that you would never have looked at had they not been on this multi-brand/department store type site.
After finding the perfect navy blue Gazelles which i had searched high and low for, I thought I would see if they could deliver on the holy grail of black coats.
And boy did they deliver...

Say hello to the perfect black coat

The perfect length, lined, jet black  crombie-style coat.
And you'll never guess the brand...
Miss Selfridge
I know!!
Somewhere I haven't shopped in about a decade, deeming it in my head to be too skimpy and young;)
Well I shall just eat my own words there as I absolutely adore my coat.
See what i mean about multibrand websites? My eyes have been well and truly opened i tell you.

I decided to wear it in the best way I know; Simple.
Lately i am all about the simple classic clean lines and find myself leaning more and more towards that buzz phrase that's around right now: The Capsule Wardrobe (more on that soon).
I paired it with my favourite distressed girlfriend jeans, a black polo neck knit, a statement studded clutch and finished off with a red lip.
My favourite.
I think i could quite happily live in versions of this very outfit, in-fact lately I've been doing just that.

Oh and before I forget, if you do what I did and sign up to the Zalando newsletter you get £10 off your first order over £50.00 meaning the coat is even more of a complete and utter bargain!

Do you own a classic Black Coat?

Yosa Turns 1 (&Giveaway) and #Passion4Fashion Linkup

Well i can't quite believe it. A full year has rolled around since i launched Yosa the online statement accessories boutique. I'm in shock! Where has the past year gone?! Just like when my little boys birthday arrives, I've come over all sentimental, what can i say i'm a big ol shumshy softie.
My baby business is 1 year old. And what a year it's been!
Having run a business previously (something entirely different however), i kinda knew what i'd be in for. Lots of hard work and late nights, blood, sweat and tears. I knew there would be up's and down's, which of course there has been.
But the thing that's resonated with me is, surprisingly, how super proud of myself i am and my husband Salvatore, is proud of me too, which fills me once again with the warm and fuzzies.
The other thing that has really struck me is how, even if i'm having a low day and there's some negativity buzzing around me, you ladies pick me up. I don't know why i didn't realise it sooner, as blogging does the same thing, but in regards to Yosa, it really has spurred me on.
From the thank you emails and cards, to the tweets and Instagrams, your words and photos lift me up and truly make my day.
Yosa Customers are quite simply, the nicest ladies there are.
The other thing we have developed over the last 12 months is the Yosa Community.
Yosa was launched for the pure and simple fact of fabulous accessories. Not long after we launched I soon saw that it was actually much more than that. I realized that part of the reason why i love this trade is seeing other women looking and therefore very importantly, feeling fabulous!
Empowering women is something i feel very strongly about, whether that be complimenting the pretty barista who has just made your morning coffee, or complimenting a colleagues new coat or shoes. A simple compliment can really go a long way as to how we feel.
Confidence boosters always help.
And if fabulous accessories helps encourage women to feel confident and amazing with themselves, then i think that's bloody fantastic.
If you don't know much about the Yosa Community, its basically showing some love.
Tweet us or Instagram us and we will share the love. And excitingly our customer lookbook/gallery is currently undergoing a huge overhaul to house all your wonderful, gorgeous pictures.
Each month we also have out Yosa Cover Girl which has received the most wonderful reception. Once a month we choose one of our customers photos to adorn our front page with links back to their social media channel of choice.
Its just a great way to share the love.
I love seeing Yosa items on our customers, so to have them on the front page as our cover girl, just makes me so happy.
Yosa
So i thought, instead of boring you all with photo's of me, yet again, i would share some photos of Yosa's gorgeous customers..
