This Weeks Wish List.....

Well I was going to do an Outfit post for all you lovely people to see. However it appears that I just couldn't do it today. I looked horrendous. Yummy mummy? Not even close! I was tired, bags the size of luggage under my eyes and just as I was gearing myself up to take a few pic's, I picked Neo up and he kindly deposited a nice present to mummy. I'll give you a hint, the present deposited to mummy was not a nice pair of shoes, it was a nice bright orange stain down my lovely white boho blouse.

So that left me picture un-perfect and was the deciding factor of no photos today!

So when in doubt, go window shopping!!

I'm really loving vintage finds at the moment and this is a fake vintage, it's new, but still pleasing to the eye and a great piece for A/W.

Missoni print I love, Missoni prices not so much! This River island retro dress is funky and kinder to my poor little purse.

I have wanted to buy a pleated skirt for a while now. I keep seeing lovely bloggers looking com-pleat-ly(HAHA) perfect in pleats and I  wanna try! Green my fav colour, and pleats, ooo yes please. I might make this one a gift from me to me. I fancy trying it with black one day and tan another. Re-mixable surely equals a must!

This weekend...where do I start!

Well so far it's been one of those weekends were a ton of stuff has happened. We've had long days of kids parties, shopping, lunches and driving.
We also have had long nights as Neo decided to come down with "I no longer want to be in my cot" syndrome and screamed at the top of his lungs until 2.30 this morning. We intermittently tried taking him out, calming him down and attempting to put him back but the little monkey was not having it, until he burnt himself and us out!
Also my 8 year old step daughter had her first sleep over at a friends house which ended abruptly at midnight when she called and asked to be picked up as she was scared. It made me so sad as she must have been feeling so lost and uncomfortable there.... today she's dancing around in a fairy costume being a kid again, which I love! Kids grow up way to quick these days, we're trying to encourage her to stay young and enjoy being a kid. It's hard in today's society when kids are 8 going on 18.
Soooo needless to say I'm feeling super super sleepy today. Bacon sarnies were consumed by all(apart from Neo, lol) and now we're sunday chilling altogether!LOVELY!!!!

Wardrobe Wednesday(late as it's now Thursday)

Well Wednesday came and went and in my usual fashion, I am late, fashionably late though!
Have been working away hard here on cash flow forecasts and profit and losses and bathing baby and playing stacking cups.  A completely varied week from the insanely stressful to the sublimely satisfying!
Here's my Wednesday outfit:

This  dress here is one of my first A/W 11 purchases that I'm looking forward to layering come the colder months, wait, what am I saying, it already is cold!! Good old Welsh weather. Please excuse the white legs, welsh weather also equals milk bottles!
 I have to admit, I did not actually wear this dress as is, I had to add black leggings. Leggings are my safety net, its cold and I could only find one stocking  and last winters tights were all in a great knotted bundle.

I have just started cooking again, a passion of mine that seemed to die a death once Neo came along. But I am totally back in the cooking zone. The above was a Jamie Oliver Mushroom Risotto.

Loving The Weekend!

I am sooooooooo glad it's the weekend. It was a particularly stressy, long, hard week in work, so I was truly grateful that even when I was woken at 6.30am on a Saturday, that no work was to be had today, Hoorraayy for weekends!


My lovely step children have gone to Tenby today with the other side of their family. Poor Neo cried as they left as he didn't want to be left behind. But we played lots and ate lots and that seemed to have cheered  the little monkey up no end.
We've been having great fun holding hands and walking from room to room. He makes us laugh as he has what we refer to as the exploring finger, where he prods everything with his pointing finger. He such a curious little thing, but he never ceases to amaze me.
We then popped to the shops where we proceeded to the check out for me to purchase this amazing bag:

It's a more yellow/mustard colour in person (in person is that the right phrase for an inanimate object, seriously I worry about myself sometimes)


But once at the till I quickly realised I had left my purse in my other handbag and not switched over before I left! I was so gutted and annoyed at myself. This is the trouble with being a lover of bags and bag hopping. I constantly change but forget to switch contents. 
You'd think, oh well accidents happen, but no, no word of a lie, I have done this 7 TIMES since having Neo! 7 times I have gotten to the checkout and realised I have no way of paying for my goods! Its a right pain at the supermarket let me tell you! 
I know, I know I NEED to sort my brain out! Stupid forgetful brain!


So after that Neo and I window shopped and then came home. I did wonder if this is supposed to be a sign from somewhere to stop me shopping. Divine intervention? More like crappy intervention (I really wanted that bag, plus it was the last one in the shop, boohoo)

Sporting his gorgeous Amber Teething Necklace

Have you ever tried amber teething products on your children? I have found ours has really helped. I'm a lover of amber jewellery and have a few beautiful pieces, but not only does it look lovely, it also has healing properties. We bought ours fromAmber Pumbkins and i have found Neo to be less dribbly and grouchy when he is teething once wearing his necklace. I highly recommend for any teething baby (and doesn't he look like a cool dude!!)


My outfit however I am not to pleased with. I love denim and this dress is like a blank canvas, and i still love the fact that I can think of literally tons of ways to wear it. However having seen the photos now, I can see it does absolutely nothing for me. Well nothing good anyway. 
I liked it as it has that lovely 60's feel to it, which I love. And it also reminded me of The Good Life, one of my favourite programmes (Barbara obviously, not Margo lol.)

But it is comfy and light and easy to wear so it will do for rolling around the floor and chasing after the pitta patta of clumsy feet.
I hope to have a better outfit for you tomorrow!
