So to give it a little more interest i've added in a bit of pattern mixing. The old tried and tested florals and stripes are definitely a favourite of mine. Its like they were made for each other, like peanut-butter and jam (yum), or gin and tonic (more yum), they just fit so well together like a marriage made in style heaven. To Top it all off i added my favourite brown jacket and suddenly i found myself liking this dress a whole lot more.

The pattern mixing totally does it. Lovely as always xx
ReplyDeleteYou always have the most gorgeous photos/outfits! I especially love the boots- they look so stylish AND comfy. Also, I've never thought about putting florals and stripes but I definitely love the way it looks! :)
ReplyDeleteLove this and pinning right now! The play of prints and the blue tights and orange scarf -- just right to brighten up this time of year :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, that first pic is perfection, with the soft lighting and how the striped tape on the rail behind you adds an extra dimension to your pattern-mixing. Lovely!

I really like the colours of this outfit. I have dresses that I've had for years but no longer wear. Think I'm going to be more adventurous and have a really good look at what I have. Almost halfway through the ban! Woohoo! Xx
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous dress, I really love the blue tights!
