I have had this dress for over 3 years if i re-call correctly, but in all honesty i have hardly won it. Weirdly i find it hard to wear/remix. I don't really know why. It's a very comfy little number with some nice stripes but it just doesn't have the wow factor for me. I think i ask a lot of my clothes. Not every item is going to have the wow factor i guess, some items are just 'nice', and this dress is exactly that, nice.
So to give it a little more interest i've added in a bit of pattern mixing. The old tried and tested florals and stripes are definitely a favourite of mine. Its like they were made for each other, like peanut-butter and jam (yum), or gin and tonic (more yum), they just fit so well together like a marriage made in style heaven. To Top it all off i added my favourite brown jacket and suddenly i found myself liking this dress a whole lot more.

I really like the colours of this outfit. I have dresses that I've had for years but no longer wear. Think I'm going to be more adventurous and have a really good look at what I have. Almost halfway through the ban! Woohoo! Xx
