Calling all Shoe Lovers #Giveaway !!

I am the first to admit i am a huge shoe lover. I have rows and rows of shoes. They are stuffed under my bed, under the stairs and they line the wall of my bedroom. And yet i can never have enough shoes. There is always more room in my shoe loving heart for another perfect pair.
Shoes just make me happy, they take an outfit from ok to wow in a second.
So when the beautiful people at Bells Shoes allowed me to pick a pair, well it took me about 3 days to choose. Yup Mrs Indecisive here could not pick just one pair( i know, jeez Rachel, what a chore ;) After scouring the site profusely, I ended up going for a beautiful new season pair from Clarks.
You see Bells Shoes sell some of the most well known brands. I was so so tempted to get a pair of this summers favorited sandal the Birkenstock, but approaching autumn i went with a pair i would be able to wear a lot over the next few months. Take a peek here here!

Dark forest green suede with black embellishment and black heels.. beautiful! Ps these also have inner cushioning making them so so soft and pillow like for your feet.. oh yes. My feet deserve this luxury!
It makes wearing high heels that much more comfy and pleasurable. Thank you cushioning!!
They also have the high scalloped edge  which i am absolutely loving right now. Its such a great detail and adds such a lovely difference to the average court shoe shape!

I paired my pretty green shoes with some new season pieces. The top is a deep jewel purple colour. I didn't realise when i bought it just how long it was, it's kinda like a tunic, but i like that. Its easy going yet the colour packs a punch. I teamed that with a new Yosa necklace  (coming soon, the Purple Pleasures.. i know i'm biased but it is a total stunner!) And also the gold sparkle clutch which i can not get enough of right now. Going to the shops requires a gold sparkle clutch, right? Right. Glad we're on the same page;)

(that's my hair dangling off the end there, not a thread.. just in-case you were wondering.. i am actually malting more than my cat at the moment.. just thought i'd share that haha!)

What Makes a Good Outfit?

Let me ask you a question Ladies;
What makes a good outfit for you?
Its a funny old question, perhaps one that's answer changes regularly. But I've been thinking a lot about this lately. What makes a good outfit for me? What is 'stylish'?
Well for me of late I have been enjoying very very simple outfits, but with some key pieces and adding in lots of happiness.
Maybe that's the formula for a good outfit?
Take this simple blouse and jeans outfit. I debated on whether to post this every-day, run-of-the-mill outfit in fear that it may be a little, um, boring?  I mean you've all seen many a blogger wearing jeans and a blouse before, right?
So why post it. Well i guess because to me this is a happy little outfit and that is what i like to wear and share. Plus clothes are just that...clothes. Unless i started wearing trousers on my head and calling it a trend we will all have seen the same outfits over the years, no?
So what makes a good outfit? Something that makes you happy i reckon. What d'you think?

This spotty blouse has been my constant compadre the past week or so.Its been worn to do pretty much everything and anything.  Coffee with the besties, yep! Meetings and school run's, yep again. I just love how easy it is to throw on and feel good.
A few other little outfit-makers for me lately are:

A piece of statement jewellery; In this case my neon NewLook necklace has been on more times than its been off these past couple of months.
The perfect blouse; with a popped collar and a little front tuck, I think sometimes it's not what you wear but how you wear it?
Fit-like-a-glove-Jeans: When I find a pair of jeans that fit to perfection, they really make me feel a million bucks, or pounds rather, either way. When the fit is right everything just looks better.
Rayban Aviator sunglasses; these have hardly left my face since i laid my mitts on them, adding the finishing touch to any outfit
So there we have it. Simple things for me that make me happy and are my (current) definition of a good outfit.

Coated Jeans

I never felt like i could rock leather (or fake leather) trousers, i just didnt think i was edgy enough to be able to pull that whole look off, and i definitely couldn't work the wet look either. But when coated jeans started to appear, i found myself adding them to my online cart, then leaving it there for a while wondering what they'd be like on these child bearing hips of mine.... Fast forward a few weeks and i was holding a pair of coated jeans in the changing room in New Look. I took in the (uk) size 10 thinking, as if?! and the size 12. I pulled the 10 on, did them up and thought to myself "my god... i freaking love these jeans" Firstly 'cos they were my first size 10 pair of jeans since loosing the weight, secondly, the kinda made me feel a bit rock and roll and a little bit..dare i say it, sexy. Needless to say they came safely home with me where i have worn them a lot since!! What do you think of coated jeans? Would you try them?

For a little date night with hubs i chose to pair it with my new Warehouse top that i recently recieved from Zalando. Now, i'm always pretty late to the game with things, this was my first time shopping with Zalando, i don't why it's taken me so long, they have an amazing range of so many of my favourite brands! I now have a wishlist as long as my arm ( tell me its christmas soon, somebody!) Including this skirt with this tshirt...want.so.badly!
Have you shopped with Zalando before?
