Reverse Pink Lady

Happy long weekend everyone! Don't you just love bank holidays, a freebie extra day tagged on to the normally short weekend equals awesomeness! I motion that all weekends should be 3 days long.. how happy would everyone on this planet be if that were case.. I should be Prime Minister or world leader or something;
3 day weekends, free shoes for all and world peace of course. My theory is you give out free shoes and 3 day weekends, the world peace will just fall right in to place, right?! (if only huh!)
Anyway on to the outfit, the weather is just diabolical here in Wales at the moment...torrential rain and thunder storms is just no fun! Where is the beautiful sunshine when you need it huh?
So to perk myself up i wore lots of pinky colours and my favourite biker jacket which all kinda looked like a reverse Pink Lady to me, heehee! All finished of with a new statement necklace which may well be my new favourite, its extra sparkliness (even a word?) made me feel like a princess all day, i may even keep it on with my pj's for movie and games night tonight ;)

Can i just quickly touch on this bag, its just adorable and perfect. I've been after a fuchsia bright pink bag for a long time. I had the internal argument of big bag vs small bag for practicality reasons, especially as a mamma, i get to carry all sorts of crap around with me.
But this time i went for the small bag, a bag just for me, and i love it!!

Sunday Strolls

I love Sundays, i never work on a Sunday and it always just gives me that head space to evaluate the previous weeks doings and to  be able to face the week ahead. I don't have any Sunday traditions as such, but weather permitting, i do love to go for a Sunday stroll, at a leisurely pace, no rush or need to get anywhere.
On a Sunday you will either find me in boyfriend jeans and converse or a comfy dress and comfy shoes. And this dress most definitely fits the comfy/pretty bill. I love it so much i have worn it 3 times in the past week. Its just so easy to through on and go. We've had lots of rain the past week here in the UK (summer over already people, really?!) but its still warm, so i've been pairing it with my tan boots and a light jacket, it makes for such easy wear, im in love.

 Uniqlo kindly let me chose a couple of pieces and this is one of my choices. The Celia Birtwell stars dress as seen on so many style bloggers a couple of months back. I actually wanted to buy one at the time but just never got round to it. So when the opportunity arose i couldn't resist, and im so glad i didn't, it is one of the most comfy dresses i own with such great versatility and also a great length, something thats very important to me! Did you manage to bag any of the Celia Birtwell range from Uniqlo?
 I just added some pops of pink with some flats and my panda bag from Primark for our simple Sunday stroll ( i would just like to say this was last Sunday its currently hammering down with rain and thundery....:-( maybe a movies day today!)

I decided to go with some little pops of pink, which is not a colour i frequent very often. But having worn pinks on Sunday i really liked them and proceeded to wear them all week, which makes me think i must start delving out of my comfort zone make up wise and trying new colours!
